Ivanhoe Horseradish Cheddar

Ivanhoe Horseradish Cheddar is a cheese I've tried before but ate all of it before I blogged about it. So here's round two with this unique cheese.

Like the Ilchester Applewood, Ivanhoe contains "natural horseradish flavour" rather than actual horseradish but it tastes great anyway.  The texture is smooth and creamy with very fine grains. The horseradish flavour is present but not that strong. It's more like the background music in a tv show. The cheddar is tangy but not sharp allowing the horseradish flavour to provide contrast.  This cheese would be great with eggs, on sandwiches, or burgers.

Highly Recommended.
